Well, on Saturday, October 25th anyway, but the Los Angeles Sports Arena can fast fill up with happy Halloweeners eager to dance with their friends and share in a magical night of exquisite music, so please buy your tickets soon, and buy a lot of them (in case an extra friend decides to come along). Like every year for the past decade, Go Ventures has hired a lot of famous DJs to perform, so that will be awesome. And, after all, awesome is as awesome does.

Nocturnal Eternal

Good news, night owls. Los Angeles' supreme anti-sleep sect, Insomniac Events, is officially throwing the mother of all all-nighters on Saturday, September 13th and the name of the game is Nocturnal Festival 2008. Doors open at a chipper six PM and don't close until deep in the pre-dawn (four AM), and the bill boasts monsters of the midnight dance brigade like Digitalism, Above & Beyond, Richie Hawtin, Kaskade, Cosmic Gate, Claude Vonstroke, plus others. The NOS Event Center in San Bernardino is playing host to this hardcore slumber buster so the proceedings are gloriously all-ages, exquisite VIP packages are available, and costumes are thoroughly encouraged. Clearly, there's no rest for the wickedly awesome.

Beats On The Brat

Since as long as anyone can remember the Shrine Auditorium has been a hive of thriving show business abandon, so it's extra sweet to see that Southern California dance motivators Beat Drop Music have seized the reigns and tricked out the pad nice and proper for their beyond epic Beyond The Beat party on Saturday, September 20th. There's a bajillion DJs and artists signed on perform, ranging from Orange County house heads to overseas tech sensations, so the variety and vibrance of the line-up will be nearly unbeatable. Doors open at 9 PM and you've got eight hours to call the Shrine Home before they toss your rear back out on the mean streets. Beat ‘em if you got ‘em.

September continues to shine as a hallowed month in the dance music calendar, with new parties blooming forth nearly every other day. The latest light at the end of the tunnel of summer is Glow, an illuminating gathering of premiere DJs and like-minded future friends thrown by the good souls at Sugar Shack Entertainment (the geniuses responsible for the Kandi Luv party) on Saturday, September 6th at a sweet TBA Los Angeles spot. Among the masterminds providing audio are Kristina Sky, Jason Blakemore, Thee-O, and many more. Further goods news is that fact that Glow is an all-ages get-together, where chill attitudes, good vibes, and positive energies come with the territory. Light up the night.
