It's not just a club style, but an all-encompassing
approach to sound.
Many
of today's cutting edge producers regard 'progressive'
as a school of thought rather than a particular sound.
This refusal to limit their music makes it difficult
to pigeon-hole, allowing for still more diversity. UK
pioneer label, Whoop! Records, has been at the
forefront of the progressive house scene for many years,
most evident in their most recent release, Progressive
Development 1 which showcases their best progressive
house tracks from the last two years.
